How Can You Not Smile When You Behind The BlueBird Truck

While I was sitting at the red light at one of the worst waits in town (getting off Interstate 64 until 250 - exit 124), I was behind the Blue Bird Snack Truck. Pretty Funny.

Bike Ride Down Hunter's Lodge Road

Last Saturday, I took an extended bike ride down Hunter's Lodge Road, which is not too far from the Troy Post Office. Pretty peaceful, and not too demanding.

This was an interesting scarecrow out next to the weeds. Guess they couldn't afford a watch dog. Maybe a watch scarecrow.

A little while later, I chanced on this interesting looking lane. I always wondered where the ghost went to party. Now I know.

I always find the best places to bike ride! This one was near Cobham. Nice flight rode near a
bunch of horse farms. Very relaxing!

I decided to go to Haven Beach over on the Virginia eastern shore. I guess technically, it is located inland, but the water was a nice blue, and the weather was great.

Haven Beach is hard to find. It is not advertised. I suspect the locals want to keep it secluded.

It has several kayak trails, and I think Judy and I should try it at least once.

Looking for change

I dropped by to see my buddy for a few minutes.

He asked if I could be science advisor.

I told him I would think about it, and get back to him.

Happy New Year Polar Bear Splash

I almost consider my self normal. At times anyway.
Not when I decided to brave 28 degree weather and jump into the rivanna woods pond.

All in good fun. Good people, like Scott and Jim, been doing this for years. It was the first time I tried this.

When I jumped in, my brain sort of seized when I first hit the water. Then I felt the cold, and I think shock set in. I jumped out of the water and headed out into the air.

Even tho it was about 28 degrees, it felt warm outside.

Too much fun!
